Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Abajas in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carmelo Ariando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hernán Leandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Loco Cabezon got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Abajas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Boni in the 13th minute of play forced BICHO neuquino's goalkeeper Carmelo Ariando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernán Leandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Galtero having to interfere. BICHO neuquino's Tony Lindmark got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wieslaw Bartoszek in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Wieslaw Bartoszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Lindmark in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, BICHO neuquino's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Perico came free, but Carmelo Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Ieltxu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. Leonides Galtero had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Wieslaw Bartoszek's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of BICHO neuquino booed when Loco Cabezon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Hernán Leandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BICHO neuquino's zone, Modesto Boni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Ariando came out of the goal and Modesto Boni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Jonas Haritzeder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carmelo Ariando saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carmelo Ariando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Perico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Loco Cabezon were awarded a corner. Modesto Boni went to the cornerflag to take it. Modesto Boni made a great header on Loco Cabezon's corner, it was just that BICHO neuquino's Carmelo Ariando managed to reach the ball for a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Modesto Boni made the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Perico in the 52nd minute of the match. Carmelo Ariando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Hernán Leandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernán Leandro struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Leonides Galtero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BICHO neuquino. BICHO neuquino made a substitution. Serafin Chuan replaced Ramon Eladio. If Modesto Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Boni in the 74th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind BICHO neuquino's goalkeeper Carmelo Ariando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Lindmark came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind BICHO neuquino's goalkeeper Carmelo Ariando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Loco Cabezon's Jonas Haritzeder got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Esteve Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Ariando having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
