FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Staffan Arenius was substituted for Rafail Klenov. Gavino Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Arano came free, but Sixten Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in De Boedo Vengo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Wawrzyniec Charamut had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Sarracino De la Rosa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 45 minutes into the game, FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Ozan Heybetli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 47th minute, Staffan Arenius made a precise shot to the right of Wawrzyniec Charamut. De Boedo Vengo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ozan Heybetli made a kick off. The supporters of FC Hammarby Sjöstad booed when De Boedo Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Pedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Luca Pedro in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Hammarby Sjöstad's Lenny Winnepennincks. Ozan Heybetli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Wawrzyniec Charamut when he managed to save the team from getting behind. De Boedo Vengo's Wawrzyniec Charamut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save De Boedo Vengo from getting a goal against them. Sixten Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Asier, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Leon Ferfecki put in a rough tackle. 63 minutes into the game, one of FC Hammarby Sjöstad:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ozan Heybetli sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Gheară in the 77th minute of play forced FC Hammarby Sjöstad's goalkeeper Sixten Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Ozan Heybetli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ozan Heybetli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The FC Hammarby Sjöstad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Hammarby Sjöstad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
