Lisandro Roderigo was slow to take the kick. During this time De Boedo Vengo's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on De Boedo Vengo's corner Vicente Arano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cedrick Francoeur quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Vicente Arano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vicente Arano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cedrick Francoeur firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Catalonia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Paul Gheară scored to the left of an out of position Cedrick Francoeur, making the score, 1-0. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Jenaro in the 25th minute of play. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Viitakoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Johannes Viitakoski made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Catalonia's goalkeeper Cedrick Francoeur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cedrick Francoeur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Arano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cedrick Francoeur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Gheară in the 62nd minute of the match. De Boedo Vengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Arano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Viitakoski got free with Wawrzyniec Charamut in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Arlindo Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. De Boedo Vengo's Wawrzyniec Charamut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Jenaro in the 92nd minute of play. The FC Catalonia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
