After 27 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Doğaner Tezel. 29 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nejat Küdüs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fenerbahçe's Nejat Küdüs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ciro Brasil put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nejat Küdüs. Albino Ibar hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Ciro Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKI CORINTHIANS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paredes Fortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Halis Tezay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciro Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nejat Küdüs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nejat Küdüs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Ciro Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eusébio Negri came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the AKI CORINTHIANS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Negri couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Ahmet Korcan Deryace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67thth minute of the game Ciro Brasil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe's Nejat Küdüs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciro Brasil struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Nejat Küdüs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKI CORINTHIANS. Nejat Küdüs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Negri went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 84 played minutes AKI CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Albino Ibar. Fenerbahçe's Nejat Küdüs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Brasil in the 89th minute of play. AKI CORINTHIANS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
