With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joakim Vennerström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elmar Loorits blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gora Argandona having to make a save. In the 9thth minute of the game Elmar Loorits who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Nacional's Gora Argandona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Elmar Loorits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Ildefonso Orense put in a rough tackle. Gora Argandona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Loorits in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Šale Caro in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Joakim Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Club Atletico Nacional were awarded a corner. Tiago Ozuna went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 38th minute Elmar Loorits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gora Argandona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Kopli booed when Club Atletico Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Hordas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes FC Kopli got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Loorits.

The wind increased when Šale Caro made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmar Loorits got free with Gora Argandona in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Nacional's Chris Mahler got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Elmar Loorits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gora Argandona having to interfere. Normando Heneses kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Elmar Loorits might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gora Argandona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elmar Loorits ran back to his position shaking his head. Gora Argandona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar Loorits in the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Šale Caro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Šale Caro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joakim Vennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Šale Caro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gora Argandona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elmar Loorits in the 86th minute. The FC Kopli players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
