Trevor Michaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Pochekanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, American Top Team's goal looked a bit too open when Darweesh Al Matrok came free, but Trevor Michaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Mario Pochekanski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trevor Michaud was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Shawn Ashby charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shawn Ashby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shawn Ashby hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Mario Pochekanski notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of American Top Team's Trevor Michaud. Trevor Michaud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Golden Tigers's Nicolae Răducanu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trevor Michaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalel Al Motar in the 35th minute of the match. Trevor Michaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalel Al Motar, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Darweesh Al Matrok came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Golden Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darweesh Al Matrok couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Pochekanski in the 39th minute of play forced American Top Team's goalkeeper Trevor Michaud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khalel Al Motar took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trevor Michaud. Trevor Michaud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 47th minute, Khalel Al Motar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Tigers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After the first half Golden Tigers were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Pochekanski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Trevor Michaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darweesh Al Matrok in the 52nd minute of the match. Trevor Michaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darweesh Al Matrok in the 54th minute of play. Mario Pochekanski succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Mario Pochekanski put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Trevor Michaud. In the 81st minute, Mario Pochekanski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Trevor Michaud. The goal made the score 0-11. When Mario Pochekanski in the 85th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Trevor Michaud kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-12 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After some careless play in the American Top Team defense, Cresconio Bobis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trevor Michaud. The American Top Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trevor Michaud should have stopped the shot. When Golden Tigers's Mario Pochekanski in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye American Top Team's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Golden Tigers's 何文震 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trevor Michaud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. In the 97th minute Mario Pochekanski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevor Michaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golden Tigers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
