The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Valerios Neochoritis in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Christos Christodoulopoulos hit a great ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's goalkeeper Theagenis Giannou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12thth minute of the game Valerios Neochoritis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Theagenis Giannou came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO's Moise Vlădean. But to his dismay, Moise Vlădean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Theagenis Giannou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Borcz's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes, Moise Vlădean made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Theagenis Giannou tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valerios Neochoritis got free with Ysmael Marfil in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theagenis Giannou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 26th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Traian Stoiculescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO got a freekick which was hit by Désiré Kaká. In the 41stth minute of the game Ryszard Borcz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Theagenis Giannou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Amato in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valerios Neochoritis to strike the kick off in the second half. Moise Vlădean came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Theagenis Giannou could save by the left post. In the 53rd minute DINAMO were awarded a corner. Traian Stoiculescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Christos Christodoulopoulos tried in the 53rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Theagenis Giannou a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-3. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ali Poyraz in the 59th minute of play. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nunez Amato in the 64th minute. DINAMO's Moise Vlădean got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Theagenis Giannou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 邓真傲 in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Traian Stoiculescu was slow to take the kick. During this time DINAMO's players had a chance to rest. When DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Theagenis Giannou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ryszard Borcz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valerios Neochoritis in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysmael Marfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dorin Agârbiceanu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. DINAMO were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's much stronger midfield.
