Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sten Melberg to make the kick off. Arnaldo da Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but 范剑烽 made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
