After some careless play in the Acilia Town defense, Sten Melberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Moscatelli. The Acilia Town fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Moscatelli should have stopped the shot. Ciro Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Melberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Aurelio Giampieri made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Diego Tozzi however managed to control. George Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Ucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the match Acilia Town got a corner. Di Röe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Tozzi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ovidiu Ciulei almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Di Röe's George Kristiansson did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Melberg in the 32nd minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Ciro Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Liang Cai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acilia Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liang Cai. 40 minutes into the match, Acilia Town's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Loss came free, but Ciro Moscatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Kristiansson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Liang Cai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

52 minutes into the game, Di Röe's Sten Melberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Moscatelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Sten Melberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Moscatelli having to make a save. Ciro Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Melberg in the 55th minute of play. Sten Melberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Moscatelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Melberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciro Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Melberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Sten Melberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Di Röe's Arnaldo da Fonseca was substituted for Sten Melberg. Di Röe's Gerard Tan was substituted for Edu Loss. 69 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Scofield Vinciguerra came free, but George Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scofield Vinciguerra in the 72nd minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Di Röe's Knut Engström in the 76th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ciro Moscatelli was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Acilia Town through an amazing save. In the 77th minute Di Röe were awarded a corner. Herman Benett went to the cornerflag to take it. Scofield Vinciguerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Kristiansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Scofield Vinciguerra ran back to his position shaking his head. Acilia Town made a substitution. Robert Wojno replaced Diego Tozzi. Knut Engström struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ciro Moscatelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Di Röe. In the 89th minute Scofield Vinciguerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Helström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Acilia Town's Franco Ucci quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 92 minutes into the game, Acilia Town's Scofield Vinciguerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Kristiansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo da Fonseca got free with Ciro Moscatelli in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the Acilia Town players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
