Yorrick Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xacintu Magadan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steven Homan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Maraponga FAC's Mané Andrade got control of the ball when Steven Homan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Homan got free with Mané Andrade in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Xacintu Magadan came free, but Yorrick Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Steven Homan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mané Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Homan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Osmundsen in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Antal Szaniszló suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Felix van As charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix van As the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maraponga FAC made a substitution. Virgílio Sergipano replaced Antal Szaniszló. In the 45th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix van As to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xacintu Magadan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Osmundsen in the 51st minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Felix van As had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Andrade. Maraponga FAC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix van As was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of SV Balverliefd booed when Maraponga FAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yves Joanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Verlet in the 65th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Felix van As managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Balverliefd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix van As was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steven Homan in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Andrade saved Maraponga FAC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Xacintu Magadan could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Yorrick Zoethout however easily saved by the left post. 78 minutes into the match, Maraponga FAC's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Homan came free, but Mané Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Virgílio Sergipano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yorrick Zoethout. The goal made the score 2-1. Mané Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Homan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maraponga FAC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SV Balverliefd.
