Hector Montrel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cezary Makomaski sped through Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hector Montrel. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Cezary Makomaski put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Hector Montrel. After 14th play minutes Cezary Makomaski shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Hector Montrel and just under the crossbar into goal. Juan Torrent took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Montrel. Hector Montrel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Uriel Arotza kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cezary Makomaski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Montrel was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Hector Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Makomaski, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Filip Bochinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Montrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Juan Torrent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Makomaski in the 29th minute of play forced Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Hector Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Cezary Makomaski put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Hector Montrel. 38 minutes into the match, Anders Ståhlman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hector Montrel. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anders Ståhlman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. In the 41stth minute of the game Cezary Makomaski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Hector Montrel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cezary Makomaski in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Montrel saved Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka from getting behind. When Chivos de Punto Fijo's Cezary Makomaski in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cezary Makomaski in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hector Montrel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Hector Montrel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Cezary Makomaski put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Hector Montrel. Dani Hernández showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Abar, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cezary Makomaski struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Hector Montrel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chivos de Punto Fijo. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Nilmar Marinho replaced Zhao Shu Cheng. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Pier Kopacz was substituted for Filip Bochinski. When Ceferino Rito fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's protests and gave Ceferino Rito a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Rito to maneuver through the defense. Nilmar Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilmar Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Montrel having to make a save. Hector Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Marinho in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Chivos de Punto Fijo booed when Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Montrel came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Chivos de Punto Fijo's Nilmar Marinho. But to his dismay, Nilmar Marinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Nilmar Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Montrel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilmar Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Nilmar Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Montrel. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Hector Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Marinho in the 84th minute of play. If Nilmar Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Adalberto Tejeda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chivos de Punto Fijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Tejeda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chivos de Punto Fijo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
