In the 12th minute Grzegorz Gdaniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Augusto Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Saldanha got free with Isaltino Durr in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grzegorz Gdaniec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Falcão Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaltino Durr made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoriy Melnichenko in the 27th minute of play. The Sävedalen fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Sävedalen's Grigoriy Melnichenko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After 38 minutes of play, Sävedalen's Grigoriy Melnichenko made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Falcão Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Junior's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Isaltino Durr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Junior came free, but Falcão Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grigoriy Melnichenko was the one to do the kick off. Falcão Cunha came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sävedalen's Zlatan Mittman. But to his dismay, Zlatan Mittman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Sävedalen's Grigoriy Melnichenko was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Larsson came free, but Falcão Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sävedalen's Grigoriy Melnichenko in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gracie Barra's Murphey Shipman was substituted for Jamey Hankins. 76 minutes into the match, Junior Junior dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Falcão Cunha, 3-6. Falcão Cunha was a little too slow when Grigoriy Melnichenko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 3-7. Sävedalen's Isaltino Durr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jago Štriker in the 82nd minute of play.
