Felix Martinsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 12 minutes, Cristo Basajaun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Basajaun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute of the match, Cristo Basajaun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felix Martinsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Felix Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The C.A.Independiente fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when C.A.Independiente's Cristo Basajaun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 24 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Heigo Luiga came free, but Felix Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Ricardo Baumar managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Osvald Uter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerry Stabbe charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerry Stabbe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.A.Independiente booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Stabbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Cristo Basajaun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sune Dahlberg was slow to take the kick. During this time LA VIOLA's players had a chance to rest. LA VIOLA's Sune Dahlberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ciriaco Macias in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Albert Rutledge made the kick off in the second half. Felix Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heigo Luiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Heigo Luiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Gottfrid Brenner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA VIOLA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Independiente the free kick. Cristo Basajaun might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Martinsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristo Basajaun ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute Cristo Basajaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of LA VIOLA booed when C.A.Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Øyvind Rovik didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heigo Luiga in the 71st minute of play. After 87 played minutes C.A.Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Heigo Luiga. LA VIOLA's Aron Overdal was substituted for Jens-Ove Abrahamsson. C.A.Independiente's Javier Milei was substituted for Indiana Jones. In the 89th minute, Heigo Luiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A.Independiente fully deserved thier win.
