An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Mascitti in the 5th minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Bryant Miles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Charlotte FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabriel Delassus took the corner. The corner ended in Rodolfo Soares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Charlotte FC's Bryant Miles did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Don Malbec to strike the kick off in the second half. Yuri Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuri Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Don Mateo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute Naci Cumhur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Miles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryant Miles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertrand Hatun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryant Miles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naci Cumhur, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Charlotte FC's attentive Jaques Van Mellaert managed to snatch the ball when Rodolfo Soares made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. A collision led to Charlotte FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Braulio Hitz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naci Cumhur in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryant Miles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Braulio Hitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charlotte FC made a substitution. Wander Suzanne replaced Braulio Hitz. Charlotte FC's Bryant Miles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertrand Hatun in the 80th minute of play. Bryant Miles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertrand Hatun in the 84th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Naci Cumhur came free, but Bryant Miles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wander Suzanne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Laércio Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Charlotte FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Charlotte FC.
