Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristide Ciuvică in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vaggelis Lalas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dráusio de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Jailson Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanasis Robos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Avraam Sevastopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, YELLOW FC's Pavlos Kopitsis got a free kick in the 28th minute. Vaggelis Lalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Ciuvică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Kämpe came free, but Jailson Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, YELLOW FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Ciuvică came free, but Vaggelis Lalas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes YELLOW FC got a freekick which was hit by Chatziioannou Sourlis. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aristide Ciuvică made the kick off in the second half. Aristide Ciuvică might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vaggelis Lalas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristide Ciuvică ran back to his position shaking his head. YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Ciuvică in the 54th minute of play. Jailson Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Kämpe in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in YELLOW FC's zone, Aristide Ciuvică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaggelis Lalas came out of the goal and Aristide Ciuvică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. YELLOW FC made a substitution. Richart Richardsson replaced Aristide Ciuvică. 76 minutes into the game, Richart Richardsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vaggelis Lalas. Richart Richardsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Jailson Aparecido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avraam Sevastopoulos went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Vaggelis Lalas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.
