Timmernabben FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sakarias Stephansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute Sakarias Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Björk in the 38th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walery Fikus was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Timmernabben FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rasmus Överman to maneuver through the defense. When Kerkûk FC's Isaac Kilberg in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Stephansson in the 70th minute of play forced Kerkûk FC's goalkeeper Niklas Bröms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Sakarias Stephansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niklas Bröms, 1-1. Timmernabben FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Wick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With his leg Niklas Bröms managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Timmernabben FF's Kaká Junior fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 83 played minutes Kerkûk FC got a freekick which was hit by Walery Fikus. Despite being the better team, Timmernabben FF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
