Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The supporters of AA GUARULHOS booed when Saronida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelios Skountouflas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lance Cabezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Susara having to interfere. Carlinhos Freitas came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Saronida FC's Valerios Voutsas. But to his dismay, Valerios Voutsas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th minute, Lance Cabezas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlinhos Freitas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valerios Voutsas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. After 19 minutes Saronida FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacobo Porfirio who took care of the corner kick. Carlinhos Freitas made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Valerios Voutsas sent off a good shot on target. Fletcher Greenan struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Laurențiu Susara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AA GUARULHOS. Laurențiu Susara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Finlay, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Carlinhos Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerios Voutsas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saronida FC's Laurențiu Susara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Finlay in the 35th minute of play. The AA GUARULHOS fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when AA GUARULHOS's Remigio Finlay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After 67 played minutes AA GUARULHOS got a freekick which was hit by Owen Ramsden. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by AA GUARULHOS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Heinz Schneider was slow to take the kick. During this time Saronida FC's players had a chance to rest. Carlinhos Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Heinz Schneider in the 82nd minute of the match.
