The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pepe Bomba was the one to do the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Academia FC's Tancredo Hondaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eurico lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Academia FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
