In the 12th match minute, São Francisco FC86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilário Porto to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, São Francisco FC86's goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elmo Jaanovits. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind São Francisco FC86's goalkeeper Hudson de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. São Francisco FC86's Hudson de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save São Francisco FC86 from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the São Francisco FC86 defense, Elmo Jaanovits kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hudson de Carvalho. The São Francisco FC86 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hudson de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. After 33 minutes of play, Academia FC's Asko Kuul made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hudson de Carvalho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elmo Jaanovits showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. If Elmo Jaanovits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
