Kenneth Majman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mané Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvin Ekerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Cabral in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geraldo Trullols to strike the kick off in the second half. Arvin Ekerot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Cabral in the 56th minute of the match. Lakis Mendrinos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Mané Quirino made a huge save. Mané Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakis Mendrinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benknotorna's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Goiás Esporte Clube had won, even though Benknotorna had held more of the ball.
