Jo Adler scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlton Convine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Trabzon's Mustafa Hamit Kutlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Golob in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael van der Vaart in the 25th minute of play forced Trabzon's goalkeeper Mustafa Hamit Kutlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Rafael van der Vaart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fodil Otman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Glasston's Carlton Convine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencer Uluöz in the 53rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Tom Rheistein got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mustafa Hamit Kutlu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Glasston booed when Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yu Wen Chao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eddy Watts took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Hamit Kutlu. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mei Zhen during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
