The referee ignored White StarZ's protests and gave Arnaldo Ortega a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Densill 杨天剑 in the 24th minute of play forced White StarZ's goalkeeper Gonçalo Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melchor Tome to make the kick off. Gianluca Pagliuca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White StarZ. The throw-in from Black Gamboa in the 97th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by White StarZ's Jorge Frans. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
