An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Vestlund in the 12th minute of play forced Lucky Star's goalkeeper Joélson Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joélson Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Vestlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ernst Vestlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aipytos Vardoulakis hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Hasan Rumangkit sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Vides skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yani Tegarkov to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Andra Mandagi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lucky Star and the White StarZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucky Star's Joélson Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Bertol in the 87th minute of play. Fausto Bertol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joélson Domingues having to make a save. Gonçalo Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otong Pink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Otong Pink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
