The referee ignored Wisła Kraków's protests and gave Mieszko Makomaski a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Wisła Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Makomaski. Roch Zdeb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Ramalho in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lincoln Hand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roch Zdeb was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 9th match minute, Wisła Kraków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mieszko Makomaski to maneuver through the defense. Ermanno Puglielli struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Duke Munoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wisła Kraków. Ermanno Puglielli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duke Munoz came out and tried to block the shot, but Ermanno Puglielli slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when Wisła Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Falk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the S.D. Bajen defense, Ermanno Puglielli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duke Munoz. The S.D. Bajen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duke Munoz should have stopped the shot. Ermanno Puglielli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Duke Munoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 88th match minute, S.D. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 98 minutes into the game, Cobi Kohler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.D. Bajen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wisła Kraków the free kick. Wisła Kraków's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
