The corner went over the outstretched arms of ATOWN's goalie and right to Dionisio Reinaga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ATOWN's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, CSD Concepción's Edgardo Soto Tapia got a free kick in the 12th minute. ATOWN's Gabriel Ingmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Miranda in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, ATOWN's Gabriel Ingmann got control of the ball when Eriberto Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Ingmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eriberto Miranda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Eriberto Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gabriel Ingmann made a huge save. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by ATOWN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio Roca was slow to take the kick. During this time CSD Concepción's players had a chance to rest. ATOWN's Gabriel Ingmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Miranda in the 27th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Eriberto Miranda might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Ingmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Miranda ran back to his position shaking his head. 52 minutes into the match, ATOWN's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Miranda came free, but Gabriel Ingmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, CSD Concepción's Eriberto Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Ingmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 58th minute Eriberto Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ingmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Volmer Houland kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Miranda in the 62nd minute of play forced ATOWN's goalkeeper Gabriel Ingmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Timmi Kølander fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATOWN's protests and gave Timmi Kølander a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes ATOWN got a freekick which was hit by Amador Normando. When Julio Roca came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the CSD Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Roca couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Ingmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Männik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, ATOWN's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Männik came free, but Gabriel Ingmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Emanuel Podgoreanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gabriel Ingmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Antonio Amenábar in the 86th minute of the match. Gabriel Ingmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baudelio Maillard in the 88th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CSD Concepción had played much better football throughout.
