A sloppy throw-in by Tomé Galvão in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fragleses's Ermegildo Rexino. Grzegorz Rasiak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yuri Loureiro having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Rasiak in the 4th minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Nicolas Romero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kim Hänninen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Rasiak in the 13th minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, 필 용 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Minuano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fragleses the free kick. In the 14th minute, 필 용 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes Atlético Minuano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roch Dejo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Fragleses's Roch Dejo to fire away a dangerous shot which Yuri Loureiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match, Nicolas Romero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kim Hänninen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Fragleses's Kim Hänninen got control of the ball when Dominik Piglowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Dominik Piglowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute Grzegorz Rasiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dominik Piglowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Gomolka, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Rasiak in the 31st minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fragleses were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Atlético Minuano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roch Dejo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Roch Dejo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yuri Loureiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Yuri Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Rasiak in the 35th minute of the match. Kim Hänninen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Piglowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim Hänninen made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Nicolas Romero sent off a good shot on target. Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Rasiak in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Grzegorz Rasiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro got control of the ball when Wiktor Gomolka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fragleses's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roch Dejo in the 56th minute. With a little luck, Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro got control of the ball when Halim Tetiker tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Romero in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kim Hänninen saved Fragleses from getting behind. After 65 minutes of play, Fragleses's Grzegorz Rasiak made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yuri Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Grzegorz Rasiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yuri Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Rasiak in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Nicolas Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Minuano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fragleses's Conrado Cardozo was substituted for Halim Tetiker. Atlético Minuano's Waldemar Radziszewski was substituted for Dominik Piglowski. Thanks to some nice moves Wiktor Gomolka could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Yuri Loureiro however easily saved by the left post. Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Minuano from getting a goal against them. Yuri Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Wiktor Gomolka sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haralampi Smrikarov got free with Yuri Loureiro in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Haralampi Smrikarov fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fragleses's protests and gave Haralampi Smrikarov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atlético Minuano booed when Fragleses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haralampi Smrikarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fragleses's zone, Mathias Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Hänninen came out of the goal and Mathias Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Minuano from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Wiktor Gomolka dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yuri Loureiro, 1-2.
