Willian Pay might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Pardini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willian Pay ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Pardini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Pay in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Pay in the 40th minute of play forced Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Alvaro Pardini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Habsburgo's attentive Conrado Stanislao managed to snatch the ball when Biagio Di Marco made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, one of Habsburgo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Biagio Di Marco walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The Foot Ball Club di Roma players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Habsburgo were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willian Pay to strike the kick off in the second half.
