The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, La Pachorra LSF's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Saldanha came free, but Eriberto Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Rufio in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute La Pachorra LSF were awarded a corner. Magnus Kübler went to the cornerflag to take it. La Pachorra LSF's Magnus Kübler was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramón Abreu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 10 played minutes ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ got a freekick which was hit by Igor Braga. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Cardoso in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Erlantz saved La Pachorra LSF from getting behind. Erasmo Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Erlantz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ramón Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Uzuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Erasmo Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Generoso Rufio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ramón Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veto Steller in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramón Abreu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leandro Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Veto Steller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ramón Abreu made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Erasmo Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Leandro Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erasmo Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramón Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veto Steller, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ramón Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Rufio in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Valério Santana hit a great ball. Ramón Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ defense, Melchor Uzuri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramón Abreu. After a defensive mix-up in La Pachorra LSF's zone, Erasmo Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Erlantz came out of the goal and Erasmo Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramón Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Uzuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s zone, Luís Fernando Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Abreu came out of the goal and Luís Fernando Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Veto Steller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Erlantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Cardoso in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Rufio came free, but Ramón Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Pachorra LSF's Veto Steller got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jorge Mattos hit a great ball. The ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented La Pachorra LSF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
