David Schembri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Paul Hattermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Alan Campbell hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Markus Paul Hattermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markus Paul Hattermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Isazi in the 23rd minute of play forced TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Santo Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Giuseppe Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Leandro Chorche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Bernard McFrank. When Markus Paul Hattermann came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the TRICOSHOW F.CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Paul Hattermann couldn't finish the play.
