Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Deivid de Salles started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Deivid de Salles put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sandro Tepedino. With his leg Jardel Reis managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Que se abra o mar's Tato Vega fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 11th minute Deivid de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zafran Chien-Kwan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid de Salles in the 16th minute of play. Que se abra o mar's Albertinho Andrade came free and shot a quick shot against goal 19 minutes in the game, fortunately Jardel Reis had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Que se abra o mar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lando Norin in the 20th minute. The corner ended in Lando Norin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Catadão's Jardel Reis did a great save. Sandro Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Andrade in the 25th minute of play. Hernani Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Tato Vega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute Zafran Chien-Kwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Eriksson lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Que se abra o mar:s Sandro Tepedino showed great skill when he stopped Chu Yun Lei:s penalty. Chu Yun Lei did an outstanding performance 40 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-2 to the right of an irritated Sandro Tepedino in the goal. Bebeto Pimenta might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jardel Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bebeto Pimenta ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid de Salles came free, but Sandro Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Catadão were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lando Norin made the kick off in the second half. Jardel Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Andrade in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Lando Norin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chu Yun Lei in the 55th minute of play forced Que se abra o mar's goalkeeper Sandro Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Lando Norin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Que se abra o mar's supporters rose to their feet, but Lando Norin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jardel Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Catadão's Deivid de Salles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sandro Tepedino. Sandro Tepedino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Que se abra o mar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chu Yun Lei was slow to take the kick. During this time Catadão's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Deivid de Salles took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Sandro Tepedino to make any attempt to save it. 76 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Chu Yun Lei came free, but Sandro Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Tepedino made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Silvério Madureira sent off a good shot on target. Que se abra o mar's Sandro Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Que se abra o mar from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Catadão's Jeremias Andrade slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sandro Tepedino. That made the score 0-5 after 80 minutes of play. Jardel Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lando Norin's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswaldo do Vale during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute Hayrullah Atikoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Catadão booed when Que se abra o mar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Tepedino acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luiz Fabiano Vargas. The Catadão players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
