RWD Molenbeek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Södra the free kick. RWD Molenbeek:s Loris Karius showed great skill when he stopped Rickard Örnberg:s penalty. Björn Holmgren hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Södra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ofelio Lagunas was slow to take the kick. During this time RWD Molenbeek's players had a chance to rest. Maximino Totakoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Guimarães in the 21st minute of play. Loris Karius had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rickard Örnberg from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After taking down the ball on BK Södra's corner Jonas Wenerdahl fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Loris Karius quite easily take care of the ball. Loris Karius made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Rickard Örnberg sent off a good shot on target. After 29 played minutes RWD Molenbeek got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Guimarães. After 30 played minutes BK Södra got a freekick which was hit by Emil Ahlqvist. Loris Karius was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Christos Tzolis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christos Tzolis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thiago Vaz charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Vaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, RWD Molenbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Trigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Rickard Örnberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Trigo was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes BK Södra got a freekick which was hit by 김 용. When Lucas Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the RWD Molenbeek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Trigo couldn't finish the play. In the 65thth minute of the game Rickard Örnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Rickard Örnberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loris Karius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rickard Örnberg took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loris Karius. Loris Karius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. BK Södra's Frank Josefsson was substituted for Björn Holmgren. In the 76th minute Oséas Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rickard Örnberg came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the BK Södra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rickard Örnberg couldn't finish the play. Inocencio Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. BK Södra's Alf Lind was substituted for Christos Tzolis. In the 82nd match minute, RWD Molenbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Guipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Totakoxe made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lucas Trigo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to RWD Molenbeek getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Thiago Vaz hit a great ball. Frank Josefsson's late challenge caught a RWD Molenbeek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Josefsson helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Wenerdahl in the 88th minute of play. Loris Karius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Wenerdahl in the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Örnberg in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loris Karius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the RWD Molenbeek players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BK Södra.
