In the 8th minute, Arif Çelebi Ergener made a precise shot to the right of Loris Karius. RWD Molenbeek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Loris Karius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind RWD Molenbeek's goalkeeper Loris Karius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Tours Football Club's Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. That made the score 4-1 after 24 minutes of play. 30 minutes into the match, Tours Football Club's Arif Çelebi Ergener sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loris Karius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save RWD Molenbeek from getting a goal against them. RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 33rd minute of play. Loris Karius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 34th minute of the match. Loris Karius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius got control of the ball when Arif Çelebi Ergener tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arif Çelebi Ergener to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Arif Çelebi Ergener had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loris Karius. RWD Molenbeek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arif Çelebi Ergener was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Charles-Emmanuel Camilleri struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Loris Karius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tours Football Club. Loris Karius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loris Karius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Çelebi Ergener in the 62nd minute of the match. Tours Football Club made a substitution. Cyrille Jenny replaced Arif Çelebi Ergener. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Guipuzkoa in the 65th minute of play forced Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Lech Blochowiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in RWD Molenbeek's zone, Cyrille Jenny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loris Karius came out of the goal and Cyrille Jenny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 minutes of play, Tours Football Club's Cyrille Jenny made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loris Karius was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the game, Cyrille Jenny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Loris Karius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute Cyrille Jenny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loris Karius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes RWD Molenbeek's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guy Jourdan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Tours Football Club's Faustin Hamet to a score. 9-1 in the 82nd minute. Lech Blochowiak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Guipuzkoa in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the RWD Molenbeek defense, Cyrille Jenny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loris Karius. The RWD Molenbeek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loris Karius should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the game, Tours Football Club's Cyrille Jenny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loris Karius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. After 94 played minutes RWD Molenbeek got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Branco. Tours Football Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
