After a defensive mix-up in Deuce Athletic Club's zone, Ramon Raymundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Ospin came out of the goal and Ramon Raymundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 played minutes Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Massa. Pedro Augusto Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Chico in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Deuce Athletic Club were awarded a corner. Elias Selatse went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Elias Selatse almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Pedro Augusto Neto did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Chico in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Augusto Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Deuce Athletic Club booed when Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match, Tadeo Iraitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Augusto Neto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 24th match minute, Deuce Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Aimar to maneuver through the defense. When Øyvind Gilje came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Øyvind Gilje couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Pedro Augusto Neto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Duarte Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Nogueira couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Leonardo Chico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deuce Athletic Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Chico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tadeo Iraitz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deuce Athletic Club's protests and gave Tadeo Iraitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Tadeo Iraitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Barros to make the kick off. Leopoldo Ospin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ. Leopoldo Ospin was a little too slow when Rafinha Massa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 67th minute, Ezequiel Karlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leonardo Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Barros in the 88th minute of play forced Deuce Athletic Club's goalkeeper Leopoldo Ospin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deuce Athletic Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Selatse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
