Hong Jian came out of the goal and Manuel Zubiaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Víctor Valdés made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Marko in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match, Segundo Marko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Víctor Valdés saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 61 minutes into the game, Calaflores FC.'s Coronel Paredes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hong Jian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Víctor Valdés made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Marko in the 64th minute.
