PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Zlatan Messi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vlad Covrig. Zlatan Messi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatan Messi in the 17th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zlatan Messi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vlad Covrig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zlatan Messi had several of the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Vlad Covrig as he didn't even see the shot coming. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vlad Covrig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Maragozis, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Zlatan Messi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vlad Covrig. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zlatan Messi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 29thth minute of the game Zlatan Messi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 minutes, Zlatan Messi made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanos Papagiannopoulos's late challenge caught a PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanos Papagiannopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when Kerkyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanos Papagiannopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zlatan Messi got free with Vlad Covrig in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vlad Covrig was a little too slow when Zlatan Messi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatan Messi in the 44th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Giorgos Maragozis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Bârsan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zlatan Messi took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlad Covrig. Vlad Covrig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Sorin Nicorici got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Zlatan Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vlad Covrig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. When Zlatan Messi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vlad Covrig was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Zlatan Messi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Vlad Covrig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. George Gurlui kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vlad Covrig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. The Kerkyra FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vlad Covrig came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi. But to his dismay, Zlatan Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. Vlad Covrig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giorgos Maragozis's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Vlad Covrig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatan Messi in the 83rd minute of play. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Maragozis in the 88th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Zlatan Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Zlatan Messi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vlad Covrig. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zlatan Messi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kerkyra FC had played much better football throughout.
