Westra Aros SK's Ivan Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Maragozis in the 19th minute of play. Westra Aros SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kerkyra FC the free kick. Kerkyra FC's Radu Corocăescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Kerkyra FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when Westra Aros SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sotos Kabitakis got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zlatan Messi. The Kerkyra FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Westra Aros SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
