The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro do Valle got free with Vlad Covrig in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Harm de Freitas came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig got control of the ball when Fausto Di Blasio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vlad Covrig came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by MarquinhosEC's Fausto Di Blasio. But to his dismay, Fausto Di Blasio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harm de Freitas in the 18th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Harm de Freitas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vlad Covrig saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Harm de Freitas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 18th playminute. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Di Blasio in the 23rd minute of the match. Alessandro do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. After 28 minutes, Calistrat Şerbănescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca and the MarquinhosEC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calistrat Şerbănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlad Covrig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro do Valle in the 34th minute. Fausto Di Blasio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vlad Covrig having to make a save. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Harm de Freitas scored to the left of an out of position Vlad Covrig, making the score, 4-0. 41 minutes into the match, Fausto Di Blasio notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig. Vlad Covrig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harm de Freitas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harm de Freitas in the 51st minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Di Blasio took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vlad Covrig. Vlad Covrig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Vlad Covrig came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by MarquinhosEC's Harm de Freitas. But to his dismay, Harm de Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harm de Freitas in the 59th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Fecioru hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Perivaldo Guimarães replaced Curt Montes. Vlad Covrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harm de Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Vlad Covrig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm de Freitas in the 76th minute of play. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Di Blasio in the 78th minute of the match. Inácio Freitas scored 9-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vlad Covrig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Di Blasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca defense, Harm de Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vlad Covrig. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vlad Covrig should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Harm de Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Di Blasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Freitas in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MarquinhosEC fully deserved thier win.
