Mateus Perdigão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Arnau in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes of play, Artevasi F.C's Alcides Antas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Tabor was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of C.A.Esparta booed when Artevasi F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Armando Manuelo came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the C.A.Esparta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Manuelo couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Nuno during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.A.Esparta's Anastasio Nuno got a free kick in the 10th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Artevasi F.C's Alcides Antas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauricio Tabor. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. In the 19th minute, Adolfo Silbestre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Esparta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 25th minute, Artevasi F.C's 余峰亦 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauricio Tabor. Mauricio Tabor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 30th play minute Alcides Antas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mauricio Tabor. 4-1. After some careless play in the Artevasi F.C defense, Lino Arnau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus Perdigão. The Artevasi F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus Perdigão should have stopped the shot. Mauricio Tabor was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Freddie Fransson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Freddie Fransson really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. 43 minutes into the game, Artevasi F.C's Jacek Rasimowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauricio Tabor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Artevasi F.C's Mateus Perdigão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Arnau in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Arnau got free with Mateus Perdigão in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Artevasi F.C booed when C.A.Esparta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Opilano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Silbestre came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mateus Perdigão could save by the left post. In the 82nd minute Alcides Antas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Tabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Alcides Antas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauricio Tabor. C.A.Esparta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alcides Antas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-2. A collision led to Artevasi F.C getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alcides Antas hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Artevasi F.C's goalkeeper Mateus Perdigão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Silbestre. When the referee ended the match the Artevasi F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
