The audience was convinced that Franco Bosch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Porfiro was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Vázquez came free, but Ermengol Baena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicollao Narbona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes of play, Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermengol Baena was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Oinaz came free, but Ermengol Baena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inigo Cueli kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Bob Morley pulled a muscle in his leg after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 43 minutes, Eliseo Bittor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luganeros AFC and the ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► players grew even worse after the yellow card. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Quirce Lamas was substituted for Bob Morley. Eliseo Bittor hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Luganeros AFC's Yu Quan Di was substituted for Ricardo Oinaz. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franco Bosch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yu Quan Di fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermengol Baena having to interfere. Timoteo Procopio's late challenge caught a ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timoteo Procopio helped the player get up and apologised. After a long run with the ball, Cordario Bazarra did a trick in the 56th minute in front of Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-2. An impressive performance by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Cordario Bazarra! The audience thought a goal was coming when Yu Quan Di got free with Ermengol Baena in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Luis Vázquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermengol Baena was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper Ermengol Baena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Franco Bosch notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro. Gabriel Porfiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rey Ronaldo in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermengol Baena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Bosch in the 78th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermengol Baena was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Yu Quan Di capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yu Quan Di really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Golob in the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's Eduardo Liher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermengol Baena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goal looked a bit too open when Rey Ronaldo came free, but Ermengol Baena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► reached it. The Luganeros AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
