Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tito Ramírez kicked off to start the match. Venezia FC's Roberto Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Jie in the 6th minute of play. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Josue Ayala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Феникс Санкт-Петербург from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Egor Penkin came free, but Roberto Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Феникс Санкт-Петербург's corner Egor Penkin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Abbondanzieri quite easily take care of the ball. Tudor Sălcudeanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Abbondanzieri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tudor Sălcudeanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Josue Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Guillelmus in the 22nd minute of play. When Thibau Van Mellaert came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Venezia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thibau Van Mellaert couldn't finish the play. Tito Ramírez took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josue Ayala. Josue Ayala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tito Ramírez in the 35th minute of play forced Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goalkeeper Josue Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Olaf Modliszewski fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezia FC's protests and gave Olaf Modliszewski a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Timur Chichko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's supporters rose to their feet, but Timur Chichko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Abbondanzieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josue Ayala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tito Ramírez in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's Gennaro Gattuso got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Liu Jie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Abbondanzieri having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Timur Chichko made the kick off in the second half. Josue Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tito Ramírez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezia FC's Roberto Abbondanzieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Venezia FC from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute Timur Chichko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Abbondanzieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Aleksey Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liu Jie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Roberto Abbondanzieri made a huge save. After 63 played minutes Феникс Санкт-Петербург got a freekick which was hit by Aleksey Braga. If Liu Jie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Timur Chichko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Timur Chichko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tudor Sălcudeanu came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Феникс Санкт-Петербург fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Sălcudeanu couldn't finish the play. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Anatoliy Bogolyub was substituted for Tudor Sălcudeanu. Josue Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tito Ramírez in the 84th minute of play. Josue Ayala came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezia FC's Tito Ramírez. But to his dismay, Tito Ramírez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 93 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timur Chichko. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Venezia FC fully deserved thier win.
