In the 5th match minute, Parma Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brett Dingle to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes Parma Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Brett Dingle. If Israel Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Parma Wanderers booed when Quien Te iba a Decir..... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Cai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cliff Gordon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 18th playminute. Israel Shantala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pawel Makarewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Ramiro Abeitia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rio Fuller's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Ramiro Abeitia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Brett Dingle. Ramiro Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Monk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Abeitia made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Charlie Monk sent off a good shot on target. Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Ramiro Abeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Monk in the 32nd minute of play. Filomeno Urtzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pawel Makarewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Urtzi ran back to his position shaking his head. Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Charlie Monk 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After 43 minutes of play, Parma Wanderers's Charlie Monk made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Abeitia was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cliff Gordon to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Godofredo Silban got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ramiro Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Monk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Fuller, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Fuller in the 59th minute of play forced Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goalkeeper Ramiro Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Charlie Monk notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Ramiro Abeitia. Ramiro Abeitia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 65 played minutes Parma Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Strano. The supporters of Parma Wanderers booed when Quien Te iba a Decir..... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cliff Gordon in the 71st minute of the match. Charlie Monk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Parma Wanderers made a substitution. George Munroe replaced Kirk Perkins. Parma Wanderers's Russ Hunter was substituted for Cliff Gordon. After 84 played minutes Quien Te iba a Decir..... got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Urtzi. Brett Dingle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Fuller in the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Russ Hunter in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Abeitia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Parma Wanderers had played much better football throughout.
