After 10 minutes, Ned Mills mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boroondara Milan and the Tabachana F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Everett in the 13th minute of play. Trifon Masourakis hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Paco Everett scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thibaut Courtois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Kris Pearse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexis Idrotoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tabachana F.C. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Trifon Masourakis hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Boroondara Milan's Ned Mills tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paco Everett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Pearse in the 30th minute of play. Kris Pearse made a great header on Boroondara Milan's corner, it was just that Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ned Mills hit a great ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Paco Everett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Alexis Idrotoglou made the kick off in the second half. When Boroondara Milan's Paco Everett in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 86th match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Sperling to maneuver through the defense. Bath Boyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Tournas in the 91st minute of the match. Thibaut Courtois made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Jason Sperling sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the game, Alexis Idrotoglou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bath Boyce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boroondara Milan played a much better game than Tabachana F.C. and deserved their victory. The Tabachana F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
