Bath Boyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedo Nadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Catucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Pearse in the 10th minute of the match. Paco Everett might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Catucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paco Everett ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paco Everett got free with Franco Catucci in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bath Boyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Tagliente in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Pearse in the 24th minute of play forced San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Franco Catucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paco Everett kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 27thth minute. Though ot was a great shot San Nicolò Kings's keeper Franco Catucci was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Bath Boyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedo Nadi in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loyd Eversden in the 30th minute of play forced San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Franco Catucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Ned Mills. Kris Pearse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Catucci having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, San Nicolò Kings's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kris Pearse fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 45 minutes into the game, Kris Pearse recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franco Catucci. Kris Pearse showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Kris Pearse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Catucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Trevisani in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Davide Bertolini managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Nicolò Kings's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Bertolini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bath Boyce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kris Pearse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Pearse in the 71st minute of play forced San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Franco Catucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedo Nadi in the 76th minute of play. Franco Catucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Pearse, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. San Nicolò Kings's Franco Catucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Pearse in the 80th minute of play. San Nicolò Kings's April Kul was substituted for Davide Bertolini. Boroondara Milan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ned Mills in the 82nd minute. The corner led Boroondara Milan's Ned Mills to fire away a dangerous shot which Franco Catucci despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from April Kul in the 88th minute of play. Camillo Stefano hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. San Nicolò Kings were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Boroondara Milan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nildo Sena took the corner. The corner led San Nicolò Kings's Corrado Trevisani to fire away a dangerous shot which Bath Boyce despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
