After 4 played minutes Tabachana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Masourakis. San Nicolò Kings's Corrado Trevisani quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Odysseas Portoulidis, made in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute Alexis Idrotoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Catucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexis Idrotoglou took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Catucci. Franco Catucci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The throw-in from Odysseas Portoulidis in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Nicolò Kings's Corrado Trevisani. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Bertolini in the 16th minute of play. San Nicolò Kings's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nildo Sena in the 18th minute. San Nicolò Kings's Nildo Sena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thibaut Courtois in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vassilis Tournas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Catucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Alexis Idrotoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Davide Bertolini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thibaut Courtois having to make a save. Nedo Nadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Thibaut Courtois made a huge save. With a little luck, Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois got control of the ball when Nedo Nadi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Bertolini in the 32nd minute of play. Thibaut Courtois made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Nedo Nadi sent off a good shot on target. Nedo Nadi made a great header on San Nicolò Kings's corner, it was just that Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of San Nicolò Kings booed when Tabachana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Idrotoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The San Nicolò Kings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Davide Bertolini hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes, Nedo Nadi made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. San Nicolò Kings made a substitution. April Kul replaced Davide Bertolini. The audience was convinced that April Kul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thibaut Courtois was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. San Nicolò Kings fully deserved thier win.
