After 14 minutes Romando Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Magno das Neves who took care of the corner kick. Rafinha Cabral came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas could save by the left post. Tiaguinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Cruz in the 19th minute of the match. Diguinho da Rocha hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Juninho Paulista sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bem Bolado's Tiaguinho Sergipano didn't even have to move. In the 43rd minute Romando Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Juninho Paulista went to the cornerflag to take it. 47 minutes into the match, Bem Bolado's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Cruz came free, but Tiaguinho Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Niva Bellido made the kick off in the second half. Tiaguinho Sergipano was a little too slow when Régis Cruz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-2. When Mo Di Yun came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Bem Bolado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mo Di Yun couldn't finish the play. Tiaguinho Sergipano made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Régis Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Tiaguinho Sergipano stood somewhat misplaced when Régis Cruz came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 65 minute. Tiaguinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Sundström in the 67th minute of the match. Tiaguinho Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niva Bellido's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Bem Bolado defense, Régis Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiaguinho Sergipano. The Bem Bolado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiaguinho Sergipano should have stopped the shot. Tiaguinho Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Cruz in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Bem Bolado's Tiaguinho Sergipano got control of the ball when Régis Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernani Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Niva Bellido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romando Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Bem Bolado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romando Futebol Clube the free kick. Diego Faria hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
