Ovando Vera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coronel Valdivia having to interfere. In the 5thth minute of the game Jardel Cabezon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Valdivia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radomir Bazan took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Coronel Valdivia. Coronel Valdivia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Fuerzas Armadas's Coronel Valdivia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Ponce in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Xerardo Amer came free, but Wiktor Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, MKS Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Bazan to maneuver through the defense. Wiktor Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xerardo Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Jardel Cabezon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Coronel Valdivia. Fuerzas Armadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jardel Cabezon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jardel Cabezon sped through Fuerzas Armadas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Coronel Valdivia. Wiktor Dudkowski came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Fuerzas Armadas's Gaizkine Armada. But to his dismay, Gaizkine Armada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Coronel Valdivia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Chowaniec in the 37th minute of play. After 38 played minutes MKS Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Dudkowski. Wiktor Dudkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerardo Amer in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jardel Cabezon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Coronel Valdivia was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After 45 played minutes MKS Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Dudkowski. The Fuerzas Armadas fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Fuerzas Armadas's Xerardo Amer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xerardo Amer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Wiktor Dudkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Rivas. In the 52nd minute Gaizkine Armada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Gaizkine Armada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fuerzas Armadas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Wiktor Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xerardo Amer, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Ponce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Coronel Valdivia.
