The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnold Vaalman kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, De Kwakel FC's goalkeeper Harm Rooy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Fonda. Harm Rooy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Brites, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Fonda during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Imperio Cordobés FC's Isaias Fonda got a free kick in the 11th minute. Tales Falcão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florian Zilverberg went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Arnold Vaalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harm Rooy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Fonda in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Frits Gronden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Isaias Fonda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio Cordobés FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Fonda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Florian Zilverberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tales Falcão was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Tales Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Tales Falcão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Zilverberg's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The supporters of De Kwakel FC booed when Imperio Cordobés FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabino Brites didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes, De Kwakel FC's Jos Hoven shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tales Falcão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in De Kwakel FC reached it. Ronald Meulman charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronald Meulman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to De Kwakel FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ronald Meulman hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, De Kwakel FC's goalkeeper Harm Rooy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Fonda. In the 48th minute, Isaias Fonda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Harm Rooy. The goal made the score 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
A collision led to Imperio Cordobés FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. David Quinton hit a great ball. Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Gronden in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, Imperio Cordobés FC's Tales Falcão got control of the ball when Eustacio Medina tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 61 minutes Imperio Cordobés FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frits Gronden who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Florian Zilverberg advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-2 in the 62nd minute. Tales Falcão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martien Zwart's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The audience was convinced that Martien Zwart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tales Falcão was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Eustacio Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. De Kwakel FC's Harm Rooy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Duarte in the 76th minute of play. Harm Rooy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias Fonda's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. When Martien Zwart came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the De Kwakel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martien Zwart couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Florian Zilverberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Sabino Brites ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harm Rooy was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Imperio Cordobés FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of De Kwakel FC for a fine match.
