Carl Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Celedonio Dominguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl Askelöf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ola Bremming kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Stig Dalgren came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Boomerang Bombers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Dalgren couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Totti came free, but Carl Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Dominguez in the 21st minute of the match. Carl Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Hammarby IF's Celedonio Dominguez fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Celedonio Dominguez took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Askelöf. Carl Askelöf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Blanco Mera hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Carl Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Dominguez in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Celedonio Dominguez made the kick off in the second half. Holger Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Dalgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of Boomerang Bombers booed when Hammarby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Boomerang Bombers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Francesco Totti fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carl Askelöf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Dominguez in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Dominguez came free, but Carl Askelöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hammarby IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hammarby IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
