Ottó Szántó didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Internazionale's Matei Călin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. FC Internazionale's Melchazadec Terron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Varga in the 34th minute of play. After 37 minutes Szolnoki MÁV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matei Călin who took care of the corner kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roland Varga was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Crăciunaș came free, but Ottó Szántó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Crăciunaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ottó Szántó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matei Călin in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ottó Szántó prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Matei Călin put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ottó Szántó. In the 64th minute Matei Călin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ottó Szántó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Internazionale's Bülent Erduran was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ottó Szántó in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When FC Internazionale's Florin Crăciunaș in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Florin Crăciunaș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Florin Crăciunaș notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Szolnoki MÁV's Ottó Szántó. Ottó Szántó was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Emesto Muñagorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Varga in the 87th minute of play forced FC Internazionale's goalkeeper Melchazadec Terron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes, Matei Călin made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Szolnoki MÁV's Ottó Szántó tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ottó Szántó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Crăciunaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Lukács Antal hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Florin Crăciunaș managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Internazionale's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Crăciunaș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ottó Szántó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that FC Internazionale were the better team. FC Internazionale's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
