The supporters of FC Internazionale booed when Büyükada Commandos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ke Bang Zhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Büyükada Commandos's Ronaldinho Gaucho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchazadec Terron narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

54 minutes into the game, FC Internazionale's Cornel Popovici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gianluca Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Internazionale lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
